Peace Committee Gathers at Kadma Police Station Ahead of Bakrid Festival

In anticipation of the upcoming Bakrid festival, a peace committee meeting was held at Kadma police station, stressing the importance of a harmonious celebration.

Jamshedpur – A crucial peace committee meeting was convened today at the Kadma police station as part of the preparations for the approaching Bakrid festival.

The meeting was attended by members of the peace committee from the local area, as well as distinguished representatives from the Shastri Nagar and BH communities.

The station officer-in-charge, Ashok Kumar Ram, urged everyone present to observe the Bakrid celebration in a peaceful and harmonious manner.

He underscored the necessity of keeping a tranquil atmosphere during the festivities.

Moreover, attendees were encouraged to directly report any specific concerns or issues they might come across to the police station.

During the discourse, residents from Shastri Nagar and the BH area presented specific requirements for a smooth Bakrid celebration.

They solicited arrangements for consistent water, electricity, and sanitation services throughout the festive period. In response to these requests, the station officer-in-charge and ADC assured the community members that their concerns would be taken into account.

They committed to guaranteeing the supply of water and electricity during the festival and to arranging appropriate waste disposal facilities.

The attendees were also reminded of the significance of reporting any incidents or information to the police station without delay. This cooperation between the community and the police force is essential in ensuring a safe and secure environment for all residents.

Among the attendees were ADC Saurabh Kumar Sinha, station officer-in-charge Ashok Kumar Ram, president of Ram Shanti Samiti Diwakar Singh Keshav Tiwari, Shashi Acharya, Reena Singh Meraj Khan, Akhtar Bhai Muqaddar Lalbabu, Javed Laxmi Narayan Tiwari Chaudhary, among others.
