Two Brothers Killed in Pakur Over Mutual Dispute: Police Investigating

In a shocking incident, two brothers were killed due to a longstanding dispute in Pakur. Police have initiated a thorough investigation.

RANCHI – A gruesome incident occurred in Ganeshpur village in the Maheshpur police station area of Pakur, where two real brothers, 30-year-old Devidhan Murmu and 40-year-old lawyer Murmu, were fatally attacked with sharp weapons.

This violent altercation resulted from an old dispute between two parties.

Following the deadly fight, the village atmosphere has turned mournful, and all involved parties have fled.

HP Janardanan, SP of Pakur, SDPO Navneet Hembram, and other police officers rushed to the scene, where they took control of the bodies for post-mortem and initiated the investigation.

The SP confirmed to the media that the incident was the result of a longstanding enmity.

The police have established three different teams to conduct raids and arrest the attackers, who are currently on the run.

One person has been detained so far, and police continue to search for the rest.

A case has been filed against 39 named and unnamed individuals.
