Sacred Heart Convent School in Dock as Student Family Alleges Harassment, Seeks Justice from SSP
Family seeks justice after Sacred Heart Convent School in Bistupur, Jamshedpur, tries to issue TC to student amidst allegations of misbehavior by the school principal.
JAMSHEDPUR – Adrija Bangbas, a student of Sacred Heart Convent School in Bistupur, Jamshedpur, found herself in the midst of a controversy when her family alleged that the school tried to issue a forced TC to her.
The family reached out to the office of the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) and requested to register an FIR against the school principal to ensure justice in the matter.
The family said that the issue with the school began when Adrija fell seriously ill.
The school was informed, and they advised the family to send Adrija back to school once her health improved.
In the meantime, the school asked the family to pay the complete fee for the academic session of 2022-23 for grade 4, which they complied with, the family claimed.
However, according to the family, upon Adrija’s recovery, the school attempted to issue a transfer certificate (TC) to her.
This action was met with resistance from Adrija’s family.
They alleged that the school principal misbehaved with them when they expressed their objections.
The family has taken the matter to the SSP’s office now, pleading for justice and an inquiry into the school’s actions.
