JAMSHEDPUR – A 10-day Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) for National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets was recently organized at the Cooperative College in Jamshedpur.
The camp saw participation from around 600 NCC cadets across the Kolhan region.

The central objective of this camp was to provide drill, Physical Training (PT), as well as weapons training to the NCC cadets.
However, the primary aim extends beyond the training exercises – the camp seeks to instill the values of unity and discipline among the cadets.
The camp provides a unique opportunity for the cadets to interact with peers from diverse religious, caste, community, and cultural backgrounds. By living together, engaging in sports, and carrying out their responsibilities, the cadets gain invaluable experiences.
Moreover, the camp offers a platform to learn and absorb lessons on inculcating unity and discipline into their lifestyle.
The organizers said that through such activities, the camp reinforces the NCC’s role in shaping the youth into responsible and patriotic citizens.
