JNAC Enforces Road Safety Measures in Sakchi Jamshedpur: Fines Charged for Encroachments and Unlicensed Trade
Jamshedpur initiates road safety crackdown, penalizing six individuals for trade license violations and encroachments, totaling a fine of Rs 21500.
JAMSHEDPUR – In a renewed push for road safety in East Singhbhum, the Deputy Commissioner ordered a crackdown on roadside encroachments and unlicensed trade operations during a meeting in the Jamshedpur notified area.
This directive led to swift action by a specially assembled flying squad in various regions, including Sakchi Jalebi Line.
Acting under the instructions of Special Officer Mr. Sanjay Kumar, the team carried out a meticulous enforcement operation.

A total of Rs 21500 in fines was collected from six individuals for infractions such as operating without a trade license and encroaching on roadside areas in the Transport and Kalimati regions.
The enforcement team, led by City Manager Ravi Bharti, included Inspector MKL Das and Regional Revenue Workers Prakash Bhagat, Binod Tiwari, Krishna Ram, and Ganesh Ram. The success of the operation underscores the administration’s commitment to road safety and lawful trade practices in the district.
JNAC officials said that they would continue to ensure strict enforcement of road safety regulations and trade licensing rules in East Singhbhum even in the coming days.
