Four Dead, Many Injured in Tragic Road Accident in Chatugidi Jola Valley
A tragic road accident in Chatugidi Jola Valley leaves four dead, including a village head, and several injured.
RANCHI – In a tragic incident, four people were killed and about a dozen injured in a severe road accident in Chatugidi Jola Valley, situated between Ragnoy and Lupungdih under Adki police station jurisdiction.
Eight individuals sustained grave injuries and are currently receiving medical treatment.
The deceased have been identified as Birsa Topno (35 years), Moti Chutiya Purti (18 years), Gideon Bhengra (38 years), and his wife Seteng Bhengra (35 years). The deceased Gideon Bhengra was recognized as the head of his village, Madhatu Malota.
Among the injured are Shankar Pahan, Mahadev Nayak, Sini Topno, Nauri Chutiya Purti, Raja Nayak, Bijla Munda, Gang Runda, and Ajay Nayak, all residents of Chatomhutub, along with others who sustained minor injuries.
According to the survivors, the victims were returning to their village from the Saiko weekly market in a vehicle on Friday when the vehicle lost control and overturned twice in Chatugiri Jola Valley.
