Rajkumar Singh, ex-Zilla Parishad VP, warns of protests if power supply in non-company areas of Jamshedpur isn’t improved within 15 days.

Jamshedpur – In a move expressing dissatisfaction over the power supply system in non-company areas of Jamshedpur, former Zilla Parishad Vice President, Rajkumar Singh, issued a stern warning to the General Manager (GM) of the Electricity Department.

He stated that if the power supply issues are not addressed within 15 days, a large-scale agitation would be launched, possibly including picketing and demonstrations at the GM office.

Rajkumar Singh, in his letter, highlighted the severe power problems faced by residents of Mango, Sonari, Kadma, Kitadih, Jugsalai, Bamangoda Barigoda, Harharguttu, Parsudih, Govindpur, Sarjamda, Ghaghidih, Haludbani, Gadda, Rahargoda, and other non-company areas.

These regions have been facing continuous power outages, often lasting more than two to three hours, resulting in significant inconveniences amidst the scorching heat.
