Namya Smile Foundation Hosts Special Screening of ‘The Kerala Story’ for Mothers and Students in Jamshedpur

‘The Kerala Story’ screened by Namya Smile Foundation at Eyelex. Film’s reality resonates with students, mothers in Jamshedpur.

Jamshedpur: In a significant event in Jamshedpur, social organization Namya Smile Foundation organized a special screening of the film ‘The Kerala Story’ at the Eyelex Multiplex, Dimna Highway Road.

Based on true events, the movie was showcased to a select audience comprising 50 mothers from Jamshedpur and female college students.

The screening ran from 10 am to 12:30 pm on Sunday.

Among the attendees were the foundation’s founder and former MLA, Kunal Sarangi, and all members of the organization.

Post-screening, Sarangi addressed the audience, emphasizing that ‘The Kerala Story’ is not just a film but a stark reality that the young generation of India needs to be aware of.

Sarangi stated that the movie, while not against any religion, exposes those who misuse religion for wrongful deeds.

The film sheds light on atrocities, forced conversions, and loss of human values by organized gangs, making it relevant to every state where individuals are misled into engaging in terrorist activities.

However, Sarangi questioned why the film had not been made tax-free in Jharkhand, as it has been in states like Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.

He critiqued the JMM-Congress and RJD government of Jharkhand for their stance on the film, urging them to face the gruesome reality it presents.

He has demanded the film be made tax-free and extended an invitation to Jamtara MLA Irfan Ansari to watch the movie, believing it would change his perspective.

Sarangi also called on the public to watch ‘The Kerala Story’ to increase awareness against serious issues like conversion and terrorism.

BJP leader Bimal Baitha, along with Namya Smile Foundation members Inder Singh, Satpreet Singh, Vishal Burma, Nirmal, Prateek Chaurasia, Monali Banerjee, and others, were present during the event.
