Legal Awareness Drive Educates Workers on Rights and Government Programs

A legal awareness campaign, launched at TRF Gate Burmamines, educated employees about labour laws, various government schemes, and their rights.

JAMSHEDPUR – Aiming to raise legal awareness among the workers, a campaign was launched at TRF Gate Burmamines on Tuesday.

Initiated under the direction of Nitish Nilesh Sanga, the secretary of District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) in Jamshedpur, this drive was aimed at equipping workers with necessary information about labour laws and various government schemes.

Members of the DLSA team including PLV Prakash Mishra, Sanjay Tiwari, and Nagendra Kumar played a key role in the event, providing detailed insights on different topics to the company’s employees.

The employees were informed about the ins and outs of Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), and several government benefit programs.

Furthermore, the event was also used as a platform to discuss the objectives and responsibilities of DLSA.

The workers were enlightened about their rights, the E-Shramik Card, the Pradhan Mantri Shramik The Bima Yojana, and various other schemes like the Pension Scheme, Ration Card, Ayushman Card, and PM Awas Yojana.

Matters like domestic abuse, senior citizen rights were also adequately addressed during this awareness campaign.
