Yoga Camp Held in Jamshedpur for School Children Ahead of World Yoga Day

Nationwide yoga camps engage school children in yoga practice, promoting physical and mental well-being ahead of World Yoga Day.

Jamshedpur: Huge yoga camps are being organized across the country before World Yoga Day by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. One such camp was also held in Jamshedpur on Dimna Lake premises.

During the exercise, school children in Jamshedpur’s Dimna Lake campus are taught yoga by five yoga committees, including Patanjali Yog Samiti and Bharat Swabhiman.

School students from 10 city schools participated in this special camp.

These camps aim to increase the interest of school students towards yoga before the upcoming World Yoga Day.

Organizing committee member Arjun Sharma emphasized the health benefits of yoga and the importance of practicing from an early age.

Yoga camps will be organized at every school level to encourage regular practice among young children.

Yoga is an ancient practice originating in India, uniting body and consciousness.

The United Nations proclaimed June 21st as International Yoga Day on December 11, 2014, to raise awareness of yoga’s benefits.
