Family Dispute Over House-Land in West Singhbhum Leaves 2 Dead; Accused Arrested

Chaibasa – A family dispute over house and land in the remote Patahatu village of Sonua police station area in West Singhbhum district took a tragic turn when a villager beat his brother and uncle to death with a stick.
The incident occurred Wednesday night and has left the entire village community in shock.
Upon receiving information about the gruesome incident, the Sonua police station officers quickly arrived at the scene, where they recovered both bodies and transported them to the police station. The accused, who was on his way to surrender, was arrested by the police.

Relatives of the deceased also arrived at the police station, where the officers are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the tragic incident.
Preliminary information received from the relatives suggests that the murders were the result of an ongoing family dispute over house and land.
