7 Trains Rescheduled, 17 Rerouted as Doubling and Yard Remodeling Work Affects SER Rail Services
SER train services affected by doubling work and yard remodeling; rescheduling, short termination, and bypassing stations announced for May 2023.
Jamshedpur: South East Central Railway has announced the regulation of its train services due to the Pre Non Interlocking and Non Interlocking work for doubling between Raipur-Raipur Block Hut and yard remodeling of Raipur Station.
Several trains will be rescheduled, short terminated, or short originated, while some trains will bypass certain stations.
Rescheduling of Trains
Several trains have been rescheduled, including the 12860 Howrah-CSMT Mumbai Gitanjali Express, 22894 Howrah-Sainagar Shirdi Express, and the 18030 Shalimar-LTT Express, among others, with new departure times on specific dates in May 2023.
Short Termination and Short Origination of Trains
Some trains will be short terminated or short originated, affecting services between certain stations.
The 13288 Rajendra Nagar-Durg Express and the 13287 Durg-Rajendra Nagar Express, for instance, will be affected on 8th and 10th May 2023.
Trains Rerouted via Urkura-Sarona Cabin Bypass
Several trains, such as the 18109 Tatanagar-Itwari Express and the 18110 Itwari-Tatanagar Express, will be rerouted via the Urkura-Sarona Cabin Bypass, with some having stoppages at Urkura and others not stopping at Raipur.
