XLRI Delhi-NCR Convocation Emphasizes Importance of Spiritual Quotient in the Corporate World
XLRI Delhi-NCR convocation highlights IQ, EQ & SQ importance in corporate world; HPCL Chairman Dr. Joshi receives prestigious award.
Jamshedpur: At the second convocation ceremony held at XLRI’s Delhi-NCR campus on Saturday, Dr. Pushp Kumar Joshi, Chairman of HPCL, highlighted the significance of not only IQ and EQ but also SQ (Spiritual Quotient) in the corporate world.
A total of 107 PGDM (BM) students were awarded certificates during the event.
As the chief guest, Dr. Joshi received the Father E. Abraham Medal for Industrial and Management Development on behalf of the institute.
In his address to the students, he urged them to strike a balance between corporate and normal life, emphasizing that life is much bigger than corporate life.

Dr. Joshi stressed the importance of SQ in every individual and encouraged students to work in a positive direction while maintaining a constant desire to learn.
Father KS Kashmir, Director of XLRI Delhi-NCR Campus, presented the annual report and highlighted the institute’s 100% placement record. XLRI is ranked among the top 10 famous institutes in the country for placements.
Father S. George, the director of XLRI Jamshedpur campus, urged students to face challenges in their professional lives like mountaineers and learn from every life experience.
KPMG CEO Chadha attended the event as a special guest.
Three gold medals were awarded by Maruti Suzuki India Limited for student achievements: Yudhveer Malik received the award for overall academic excellence, Ara Shah was honored with the title of academic excellence for women, and Rishikesh Pramod Nair was recognized as the all-rounder student.
