Jamshedpur: The social and cultural organization Naman organized a special event to pay homage to Babu Veer Kunwar Singh, the great hero of the first freedom struggle in 1857, on his martyrdom day in Sakchi on Wednesday..
The gathering took place at the Sakchi office under the leadership of founder Amarpreet Singh Kale and was attended by a large number of women, youth, and city dignitaries.
Chief Guest Shambhu Singh highlighted Babu Veer Kunwar Singh’s sacrifices and commitment to protecting the nation.
He emphasized that Singh’s ideals of patriotism have left an everlasting impact on the country and its citizens.
AJSU leader Chandragupt Singh commended Babu Veer Kunwar Singh for giving his life to the cause of India’s freedom, asserting that his bravery and sacrifice continue to serve as an inspiration to all.
Intuc leader and Chief Patron of Naman, Rakeshwar Pandey, praised Babu Kunwar Singh as one of the immortal freedom fighters who worked tirelessly to free India from colonial shackles. He acknowledged that the nation owes its freedom to the sacrifices of countless patriots like Singh.
Senior Congress leader Ramashray Prasad urged everyone to follow the ideals of these great personalities in order to protect and cherish the hard-earned freedom.
He stressed the importance of embracing the path shown by Babu Veer Kunwar Singh in order to achieve the vision he had for a rejuvenated nation.
Varun Kumar, former president of the Ex-Servicemen Council and mentor of Naman, expressed his gratitude to revolutionaries like Babu Veer Kunwar Singh, whose contributions will never be forgotten.
Naman founder Amarpreet Singh Kale described Babu Veer Kunwar Singh as a fearless and brave individual who fought not only for India’s freedom but also to protect the interests of society.
Kale emphasized that Singh’s patriotism, courage, and self-sacrifice will forever remain etched in the hearts and minds of the people.
