In Jamshedpur, the Naman family commemorated the heroism of Babu Veer Kunwar Singh, a notable figure from the 1857 freedom struggle, drawing a diverse group including many local notables.

JAMSHEDPUR – In the heart of Sakchi, Jamshedpur, a large crowd gathered to pay homage to Babu Veer Kunwar Singh on his martyrdom day.

The event, organized by the Naman family, saw the presence of many women, young people, and city dignitaries.

The commemoration was marked by heartfelt tributes to a man remembered for his unwavering bravery and commitment to India’s freedom.

Shambhunath Singh, President of the Jharkhand Kshatriya Sangh and chief guest at the event, reflected on Singh’s legacy, stating, "Babu Veer Kunwar Singh remains a symbol of indomitable courage and bravery, whose tale of valor continues to inspire us."

Amarpreet Singh Kale, another speaker, echoed these sentiments, emphasizing Singh’s role in sharpening the freedom movement while safeguarding societal interests.

"His exceptional sacrifice and patriotism live on in our hearts, serving as a beacon of courage and self-sacrifice," he noted.

The event also featured speeches from members of various local committees and societies, all sharing their admiration for Singh’s contributions to the nation.
