Police raid illegal liquor dens in Harina, Chakdi, and Samursai, seizing 2,000 kg of Jawa Mahua and 80 liters of Mahua liquor; 3 smugglers absconding.
Jamshedpur – In a crackdown on illegal liquor activities, police carried out raids at Harina and Chakdi under the jurisdiction of Kowali police station, as well as at several sites in Samursai under the jurisdiction of Potka police station.
As a result of these raids, charges have been filed against three absconding illegal Mahua liquor traders.
During the operation, authorities seized significant quantities of illicit hooch, including 2,000 kg of Jawa Mahua and 80 liters of Mahua liquor.
These raids are part of ongoing efforts to curb illegal liquor sales and distribution in the area, ensuring public safety and compliance with the law.
The police continue to search for the three absconding smugglers, urging the public to provide any relevant information that could lead to their arrest and help bring an end to illegal liquor activities in the region.
