BJP readying for demonstration and Maha Dharna at State Secretariat on April 11

Party to launch state-level protest against alleged corruption and political anarchy in Jharkhand

Jamshedpur: The state unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Jharkhand has announced a demonstration and a grand strike in front of the state secretariat on April 11, in protest against what they claim is the state government’s corrupt practices and failure to address pressing issues such as unemployment, women’s safety, and farmer distress. The party is preparing hard to make the Mahadharna a grand success.

Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato, speaking on the matter at the BJP office in Jamshedpur,, alleged that the state government is involved in corruption and that unemployment is at its peak in the state.

He stated that the government’s election promise to address unemployment has remained unfulfilled, and women’s safety is at risk, particularly tribal women, who are increasingly vulnerable to crime.

Additionally, he claimed that farmers in the state are distressed, with the government failing to address their concerns.

State BJP President, Deepak Prakash, had visited Jamshedpur on last Thursday to review the preparedness of party workers in the city for the upcoming agitation.

He had said that the party will launch a state-level agitation against ‘political anarchy’ in Jharkhand and will hold a Mahadharna on April 11 before the State Secretariat in Ranchi.

The protest comes in response to what the BJP claims is the ‘growing anarchy’ in the state of Jharkhand.

The party has called on BJP workers from all over the state to gather in front of the Jharkhand Secretariat in the capital city of Ranchi for a grand protest.

The BJP’s protest against the state government’s alleged corruption and failure to address pressing issues indicates a growing political turmoil in the state.

The party’s decision to hold a statewide protest is a significant move in this regard, and it remains to be seen how the government responds to these allegations and how the situation develops in the days to come.
