Congressmen Protest in Jamshedpur and Adityapur Against Rahul Gandhi’s Disqualification from Parliament

Jamshedpur: The Congress Party members held a demonstration in Jamshedpur and Adityapur of Seraikela district on Wednesday and blocked the road to protest disqualification of Rahul Gandhi from the membership of Parliament due to his conviction in a criminal defamation case.

Congress leaders and workers across the country have launched protests against the termination of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s membership of Parliament.

In Jamshedpur and Adityapur in Seraikela district too, the Congress workers blocked roads and jammed the Adityapur toll bridge in protest against the decision.

The former district president of the party Ravindra Jha led the protest in Jamshedpur, while senior Congress leader Rana Singh led the protest in Adityapur.

The Congress workers made it clear that they would continue their agitation until Rahul Gandhi’s membership is restored.

They accused the central government of conspiring against the Congress leader and canceling his parliament membership in retaliation for his efforts to expose corruption in the government.

The Congress workers emphasized that Rahul Gandhi had always raised his voice against corruption and wrongdoing in the government, and his termination from Parliament was a clear attempt to stifle dissent.

They pledged to continue their protests until justice is served and Rahul Gandhi’s membership is restored.

The protest caused traffic disruption and inconvenience for commuters, especially at Adityapur Toll Bridge.
