3 arrested in Golmuri firing case, injured Amandeep referred to RIMS, still critical
Jamshedpur: Golmuri police have detained three persons in connection with the Golmuri firing incident in which a youth of Tuiladungri was shot and seriously injured.
The injured youth Amandeep Singh has now been referred to RIMS in Ranchi for better treatment. He is stated to be in a critical condition.
According to the police, late Saturday evening, there was a fight in the Muslim Basti under the jurisdiction of of Golmuri police station, and Amandeep was shot while attempting to intervene and save a youth, who was being assaulted by a group of youths.
Three people, including one Munna, have been detained by police in connection with the case.
On the other hand, Amandeep has been moved from Tata Main Hospital to RIMS Hospital in Ranchi for better care.
The police are investigating the crime and trying to identify the perpetrators using CCTV video from the vicinity.
The video depicts a bunch of young people arguing, and the shooters are clearly visible.
According to the police sources, a young man and his companion were attacking Lovepreet on Saturday night, and when Amandeep went to intervene, he was assaulted and shot in the back.
