A world war will start if China ally with Russia: Volodymyr Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned China against supporting Russia. He said that a world war will start if China ally with Russia.

Zelensky said, I think China is aware of this. The opportunity has come for China to make a realistic assessment of what is happening (in Ukraine).

Zelensky said these things to a German newspaper Die Welt. This information is now being reported by different media channels.

Referring to China’s side, Ukrainian President Zelensky said that it is important for us that China does not support Russia in this war. But I don’t think that is possible at the moment.

Biden visited Ukraine on Monday. Arriving in Kiev, he discussed the supply of long-range weapons to Ukraine with President Volodymyr Zelensky.

At a press conference in Kiev with Zelensky, Biden said Russia tried to wipe Ukraine off the map. But Putin’s dream of winning the war has been ‘erased’. He also commented that Putin’s plan to invade Ukraine was ‘wrong’.

Biden made the surprise visit amid high-security four days before the anniversary of the Russian invasion. Before that he visited Poland.

Zelensky said the White House said President Joe Biden would soon announce more sanctions against Russia and military aid to Ukraine.

Zelensky posted a photo of a meeting with Joe Biden on the messaging app Telegram. In this picture, he is seen shaking hands with the US President. Sharing the photo, he wrote, ‘Welcome to Kiev, Biden. Your visit is a very important sign of support for Ukrainians.’
