US offers unconditional assistance to Pakistan in fighting terrorism

Militants have captured a Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) center in Bannu, Pakistan. After learning of this news, the United States offered unconditional assistance to Pakistan in the fight against the militant organization Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and similar groups.

Earlier, agencies reported that Pakistani army commandos on Tuesday stormed a counter-terrorism centre and killed militant detainees who had seized control of the facility, as well as rescuing their hostages, after talks failed to resolve a two-day standoff.

The United States has said that defeating terrorism is the goal of both countries.

US State Department spokesman Ned Price said this at a press conference. At the same time, the United States has offered assistance to India and Pakistan in resolving their differences. The United States intends to continue its partnership with both countries. News from The Dawn

He said, “We call on those responsible to stop all violence and release the hostages and leave the center.”

He also said that we are ready to help against terrorist groups on the Pakistan-Afghan border.

Militants on Sunday captured a center of Pakistan’s Bannu Counter Terrorism Department (CTD). Discussions were going on between the Pakistani government and the militants to resolve the issue. However, there has been no progress in the talks yet.
