Khas Mahal Sadar Hospital sanitised after employee is found Covid positive

Jamshedpur: One employee of Sadar Hospital, Khas Mahal in Jamshedpur has been found positive for Covid-19 in the test report. The report caused quite a sensation within the hospital campus. The hospital was vacated completely and sanitisation work began.

Sources said that the OPD patients were being seen by the doctors on Tuesday in the normal way. In the meantime, a report of an employee of the hospital testing positive for Covid-19 was received. The employee was on duty at that time.

As soon as the report was received, the hospital was vacated and sanitisation work started.

The Civil Surgeon Dr. Rajendra Nath Jha confirmed this and said that the hospital has been sealed as a precautionary measure.

He said that no patient is being allowed to go out. The hospital is being sanitised.

The Civil Surgeon said that seeing the rise in the number of cases in the district, the number of quarantine centres is being increased.
