AJSU submits memo to Jugsalai Municipal Corporation, warns of agitation

Jamshedpur : Drawing the attention of the executive officer of Jugsalai Municipal Corporation relating to public issues, AJSU Party East Singhbhum District Committee handed over a 9-point memorandum and warned that if action was not taken within 15 days, they would launch fierce agitation.

The issues relate to problem of the drain at Jugsalai Station Road and the slab placed over drain near Jugsalai Gate. The citizens said that the slab is inviting road accidents, Cleanliness in Idgah Ground at Jugsalai Gauri Shankar Road has also been raised in the memo.

Any alternative method for disposal of garbage near Jugsalai temple has not been found.

The Executive Officer of Jugsalai Municipal Council was apprised of various public problems, including lack of facilities and cleanliness of the statue at the site of veer Mangal Pandey near Tata Pigment Gate.

Arup Malik, District President of the organization warned that if within 15 days no action is taken on the 9-point demand letter, the AJSU party will stage a sit-in protest.
