80 out of 81 cast votes in Presidential election in Jharkhand Assembly

Ranchi: The voting for the presidential elections were completed in Jharkhand Legislative Assembly peacefully today under the careful watch and supervision of Additional Secretary to the Government of India-cum-Observer Presidential Election 2022, Jharkhand, Dr. Rajendra Kumar.

On this occasion, all the member voters arrived in the polling station set up in Ranchi and exercised their votes in the presidential election.

The voting which started at 10 am ended at 5 pm and the ballot box was taken to the strong room under the supervision of the observer.

The Chief Electoral Officer K.Ravi. Kumar said that out of 81 MLAs, 80 cast their votes in the Jharkhand polls related to the presidential election.

The ballot box related to voting will be sent from Ranchi to Delhi on July 19, where the process of counting will be completed on July 21.

In the conduct of the voting process many officers were involved, including the Joint Chief Electoral Officer Hiralal Mandal and the Secretary-cum-Assistant Election Officer in-charge Syed Javed Haider.
