Ex-MLA Kunal Sarangi leads delegation to Governor, submits memorandum

The Ex-MLA and BJP state spokesman Kunal Sarangi met the Governor of Jharkhand Ramesh Bais and submitted a memorandum drawing his attention to several issues relating to people.

Jamshedpur: A delegation led by former MLA Kunal Sarangi met the Governor of Jharkhand Ramesh Bais on Thursday.

The delegation submitted a memorandum to the Governor raising issues that related to the people and need to be addressed.

The former MLA appealed to the government to amend the faulty appointment rules of Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission.

He said that Hindi, Bhojpuri, Magahi, Angika languages ​​should be included in the selected regional tribal language category.

He advocated the need to provide equal opportunity to the youth of Jharkhand and Implement the local policy with the spirit of proper development of the indigenous people of Jharkhand.

The memorandum also highlights the need to take cognizance of step-motherly treatment to Odia language.

It says that posting of Odia teachers on approved posts in Kolhan University PG Department and all colleges should be ensured and appointment of one Odia teacher should be ensured in all Intermediate Colleges and 10+2 High Schools.

It also stresses the need to ensure availability of Odia medium textbooks from class I to X within the current session.

The memorandum says that despite Odiya being declared as the second official language, the Odia Academy has not yet been established.

The Governor assured the delegation that he would soon communicate with the Government on these matters and would see to it that the issues are resolved.

The delegation included Zilla Parishad member Sudipto De Rana, BJP Scheduled Caste Morcha state vice-president Vimal Baitha and others.
