Auto driver found hanging in Sonari Khuntadih house
Jamshedpur: A 36-year-old man, identified as Manay Bari, a resident of Khuntadih under the jurisdiction of Sonari police station, was found hanging in his house. The police suspect that this may be a case of suicide. However, investigations are on and no final conclusions have been drawn yet.
According to the police, 36-year-old Manay Bari was an auto driver and he lived alone in the house after getting divorced from his wife.
On Saturday, locals informed the police after foul smell started emanating from the house.
Police reached the spot and after investigation, sent the body for post-mortem. Giving details about the incident, ASI Jairaj Soni said that 36-year-old Manay Bari possibly committed suicide by hanging in Sonari Khutadih. He had been living alone in the house.
The reason for his death or possible suicide is not yet known and the police are still investigating the case. The police are trying to contact the family of the deceased.
A tenant Raj Prasad said that he had gone to work. He said that he was told by others that the auto driver, 36-year-old Manay Bari, committed suicide by hanging himself with the help of a rope inside the house.
After coming back from duty, he saw that there was a crowd in front of the house.
He said that every day he used to sleep keeping the door of the house open but for the last four days he used to stay inside with the door closed.
He said that the landlord auto driver lived alone in the house, while his elder brother lives in Chaibasa.
