BJP extends helping hand to minor’s grieving family, demands compensation

Jamshedpur: BJP has extended a helping hand to the grieving family that lost its minor member allegedly due to a fall in a pit dug as a part of work under Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana. The dead body of Biplab Raha, 14, was found in a ditch dug for construction work in Birsanagar Zone No. 2 under Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana.

On the instructions of the national vice-president of BJP and the former chief minister Raghubar Das a team of BJP workers visited the house of the grieving family and extended financial help.

Bablu Gope, Boltu Sarkar and others met the family and promised all possible help. They have been in constant touch with the victim’s family.

The BJP team said that the family lives in utter penury. The parents of the deceased child too are struggling with serious diseases. The BJP team promised them help in treatment.

The BJP district general secretary Rakesh Singh described the incident as shocking. He said that despite such a major accident, neither the contractor nor the administrative officials have taken any notice of the incident. He said that the senior party leaders are trying hard to ensure that adequate compensation is paid to the grieving family. He also demanded strict action against the guilty persons whose negligence caused loss of a precious life.
