Environment protection message on World Bicycle Day

Jamshedpur: A clean environment is necessary for everyone. It is especially important at a time when the humanity is facing one of the biggest health crises in recent times.

The environment faces threats due to pollution in urban areas. At the same time, due to lack of proper food and body care, most of the people remain unhealthy.

World Bicycle Day is celebrated on June 3 every year to make people aware about the environment and the need for keeping the body healthy.

On the day, a group of local youths took out a cycle rally in Sonari under the leadership of a social organisation Hariyali.

During the rally, the members of the organization went around the area holding a sapling in each of their hands. They stressed the need for to have healthy food habits as well as bicycling. The volunteers advised people to continue bicycling for healthy lifestyle.

They said that bicycling is the best way to cut down on vehicle pollution.
