J N Tata Vocational Training Institute (JNTVTI) inaugurated virtually at West Bokaro Division of Tata Steel

35 students enrolled on the first day of the inauguration at West Bokaro.

More than 4300 students have benefitted from 6 JNTVTI Centres across Jharkhand and Odisha since inception

Jamshedpur: J N Tata Vocational Training Centre (JNTVTI) was virtually inaugurated at West Bokaro today. Mr D B Sundara Ramam, Vice President (Raw Materials), Tata Steel graced the occasion as Chief Guest along with Mr Manish Mishra, General Manager, West Bokaro Division, Tata Steel and Mr Prakash Singh, Chief, Capability Development, Tata Steel.

This was the first-ever virtual inauguration of a JNTVTI centre and more than 100 people attended the inaugural programme.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Sundara Ramam said, “Skilling youth for employment to bridge the gap between demand and supply of skilled workforce comes with its own set of challenges.

JNTVTI provides a unique opportunity to the youth of the region to develop their skills and guarantees100% placement from the very first day of joining the centre. I wish all the students a bright future ahead.”

JNTVTI centre at West Bokaro is the 3rd centre at the Raw Materials Division after Joda and Jharia. 35 students enrolled in the Site Safety Supervisor and Mining Supervisor programmes on the inaugural day of JNTVTI Centre at West Bokaro.

A total of 4300 students have benefitted from the 6 JNTVTI Centres across Jharkhand and Odisha since inception.

These centres are located at Jamshedpur (2 centres), West Bokaro, Jharia, Joda and Kalinganagar (Odisha).

About JNTVTI

JNTVTI is a public charitable trust and a training institute mentored by Shavak Nanavati Technical Institute (SNTI), Jamshedpur. It aims to impart state-of-the-art skill development training to the youth of Jharkhand and Odisha.

The courses at JNTVTI are accredited with NSQF certification as a formal recognition by Government of India. Reiterating its commitments to giving back to the community, JNTVTI aims to skill the youth of Jharkhand and Odisha in relevant and in-demand trades.

ST/SC students with outstanding performance during training are eligible for partial or full reimbursement of course fee (based on their performance) at the end of successful completion of training.
