District Administration and Tata Steel Execute Successful Demolition to Reclaim Encroached Land
In a significant move, the district administration and Tata Steel reclaimed 5400 square feet of encroached land in Sakchi.
JAMSHEDPUR – Following the JPLE case verdict, the district administration and Tata Steel reclaimed land encroached on at Sakchi Institute of Engineers.
With the aid of two bulldozers, encroached structures were demolished, reclaiming public property.
Prior to the operation, the SDO office issued a notice demanding Om Prakash Singh remove encroachments in New Plot No. 4909.
The request for a two-day grace period was denied, and the administration acted per the court’s order.
SDO Parul Singh supervised the operation, appointing CI Abhishek Kumar and an assistant engineer to the task.
Tata Steel’s Senior Land Manager Sunil Singh coordinated with police and armed forces at the site.
