14th day of no corona death passes off, total deaths 375

Jamshedpur: No Coronavirus death was reported on Saturday in Jamshedpur and East Singhbhum district. The total number of deaths caused by coronavirus pandemic in Jamshedpur remains at 375 by day end.

According to official data, three more persons have been found to be infected with with coronavirus.

With this, the total number of infected persons in East Singhbhum district till Saturday has reached 18,007.

On the other hand, 11 patients of coronavirus were also cured and discharged on Saturday. With this, the total number of recovered patients in East Singhbhum district has now reached 17,577. For now, the total number of active cases of coronavirus pandemic in East Singhbhum district has come down to only 55.

According to official data, the recovery rate for East Singhbhum has now reached 97.63% while the mortality rate hovers around 2.08%.

The positivity rate for the district till Saturday is at 3.46%.

East Singhbhum district remains the worst affected district of Jharkhand state. However, For about one month, the district has performed very well and brought the daily average deaths to nearly zero.
