Corona claims 1 life in Jharkhand on Friday, total deaths 1008

Ranchi: Coronavirus has claimed 1 more life in Jharkhand on Friday. With this, the total number of deaths caused by the pandemic has now reached 1008.

According to official data, 274 new positive cases of coronavirus infection were also detected in the state on Friday. With this, the total number of infections in the state has reached 1,12,606. Out of these, 1,09,891 patients have already been cured and discharged. For now, the state has only 1,707 active cases of coronavirus infection.

As per official data, the state has tested 45, 90,771 samples till Friday. Out of these only 1,12,606 samples were found positive.

On Friday itself, 274 persons were also cured and discharged. This takes the total number of recoveries in the state to 1,09,891.

The state has a recovery rate of 97.58%, while the mortality rate for the state is 0.89%.

East Singhbhum district remains the worst-affected district of the state with a mortality rate of 2.2% and a positivity rate of 4%.
