JMM leader Firoz Khan meets SSP, demands probe into Kadma firing case

Jamshedpur: In the wake of allegations being levelled against him in the Kadma firing case, JMM leader Firoz Khan on Wednesday met the SSP Dr. M Tamil Vanan himself and demanded a probe into the entire case.

Denying the allegations made against him and his nephew in the case, he said that he was needlessly being implicated in the case.

He said that if the police find that he or any member of his family has a hand in the firing incidents in Dhatkidih area, then he himself would surrender before the police.

He also said that the local police were intimidating him and said that people involved in illegal liquor and contraband substances were conspiring against him. He also said that he was being targeted because he had raised his voice against people involved in illegal activities. He said that he would provide all the proof to the SSP himself.

It may be added here that on Monday evening unidentified criminals shot at and injured one Ashfaque Khan in Kadma. Ashfaque Khan is a resident of Dhatkidih, which falls under the jurisdiction of Bistupur police station.

His friends had rushed him to TMH, where he is being treated now.
