Ruckus in MGM Hospital as woman dies hours after delivery

Jamshedpur: MGM Hospital is once again in the news for the wrong reasons. It is again facing allegations of negligence from patient’s family as a woman died soon after delivering a child Monday night. Irate family members created a major ruckus on the hospital premises.

The deceased was a relative of the former president of Mango BJP Mandal Md. Nisar.

According to relatives, the deceased delivered a child Monday morning. Monday late night the family members were informed that the mother had died.

The family members of the deceased alleged that when the reached the hospital not a single doctor or nurse was present in the ward. The family members alleged negligence fo the hospital and created a ruckus. BJP supporters too started arriving on the hospital premises.

BJP leaders said that the hospital condition is deteriorating day by day. They said that no humanity is being shown by the management toward the patients.

The relatives also demanded that an FIR be registered against the duty doctor for negligence.

Sakchi police arrived at the hospital soon after receiving information. The relatives were insisting on registering an FIR against the doctor. The police were trying to assuage the angry relatives.
