34 new cases in Jharkhand on June 16, 121 patients cured too

Ranchi: 34 new Corona positive cases have been confirmed in Jharkhand on Tuesday, June 16, 2020. With this the number of total infected persons has reached 1839. Nine persons have died of this disease till date. However, 1120 persons have also been cured. The number of active cases for now are 709 and all these patients are being treated in different parts of the state.

Despite the sharp rise in the number of patients, the recovery rate too is improving very steadily. The recovery rate in Jharkhand has now become 60.95, while the same figure for the entire country is around 52. The mortality rate in Jharkhand is 0.49 per cent, while this is 2.89 at the national level.

On Tuesday 121 patients were cured in the state. Even in West Singhbhum 12 patients were cured and discharged from hospital.
