Successful Blood Donation and Eye Check-Up Camp at Mango Gurudwara
Mango Gurudwara’s camp commemorating Sahibzadas’ martyrdom sees 79 blood donations and 67 eye check-ups, showcasing community solidarity and health awareness.
JAMSHEDPUR – In a heartfelt tribute to the martyrdom of the four Sahibzadas, Mango Gurudwara organized a blood donation and eye check-up camp on its premises.
The event, held on Sunday, was part of the "Martyrdom Week" activities.
A total of 79 individuals, including enthusiastic women participants, donated blood at the camp organized by Gurdwara Singh Sabha Mango in collaboration with MGM Hospital management.
Additionally, 67 people underwent eye examinations at the camp.
Mango resident Mandeep Singh Manni was the first to donate blood, setting a motivational example for others, particularly the youth.
The "Martyrdom Week" commenced with a Chetna March on December 21st at Mango Gurudwara, culminating in this impactful health camp.
A six-member team from MGM Hospital management was present, providing support and courteous assistance to the donors.
Bhagwan Singh, head of the Central Gurdwara Management Committee, visited the camp to encourage the donors.
In his statement, he expressed satisfaction at the Sangat’s overwhelming support, which led to the successful collection of 79 units of blood.
General Secretary Jaswant Singh Jassu emphasized that the blood donors paid a true tribute to the martyrs through their generous act.
The successful execution of the camp was a result of the collaborative efforts of Gurdwara Singh Sabha Mango, Naujawan Sabha, Stree Satsang Sabha, and others, demonstrating a commendable community spirit.
