Srinath University Signs MoU with Laurentian University for Global Academic Partnership

Srinath University in Jamshedpur allies with Laurentian University, Canada for an international partnership offering world-class programmes and experiences.

JAMSHEDPUR – A noteworthy part of this international collaboration includes the opportunity for Srinath University students to participate in 45-day foreign student exchange programmes offered by Laurentian University in Canada.

This was highlighted by Srinath University’s Chief Coordinator for External Affairs, Dr. Santosh Kumar, who also stressed the planned discussions and skill-enhancing programmes with professionals from various sectors to acquaint students with contemporary issues.

In addition, Srinath University recently made a significant stride towards a global academic partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Laurentian University in Canada.

The aim of the MoU is to foster collaboration in several areas such as joint conferences, research and innovation promotion programmes, skill-building initiatives, and student exchange programmes.

A major component of the MoU is the joint effort to establish and offer academic programmes that are globally employable and align with international standards.

Sukhdev Mahato, the Chancellor of Srinath University, stated that this cooperation also entails designing professional certification programmes collaboratively to benefit the students. He expressed his aspiration to provide students with world-class education and training, enabling them to thrive globally. Furthermore, he confirmed the institution’s intent to seek similar collaborations in the future.

The MoU was also signed by Vice-Chancellor Dr. Govind Mahato, Dr. Santosh Kumar, Departmental Heads Shashikant Singh, and Anuj Kumar Pandey of Srinath University, as well as Dr. Ramesh Subramanian, Director of the School of Engineering Computation, and Prof. Kalpadrum Passi, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture of Laurentian University, Canada.

The partnership between Srinath University and Laurentian University will open up new possibilities for students studying science, engineering, and computer science, granting them access to advanced, career-centric education on a global scale. According to Dr. Govind Mahto, Vice-Chancellor of Srinath University, the MoU symbolizes a mutually beneficial partnership for both institutions, echoing a shared commitment to academic excellence and global exposure.
