Arjun Munda questions Jamshedpur Admn for failing in ‘protocol’

Jamshedpur: In a major development, the Union Minister of Tribal Affairs Arjun Munda has expressed dismay at the fact that the East Singhbhum district administration does not seem to be aware about the protocol relating to Union Ministers.

In a short and sharp one line tweet made at 2.08 pm on Friday, Arjun Munda, remarked: “The union minister comes to Jamshedpur, district administration has no idea about protocol!”

In his tweet Mr. Arjun Munda has also tagged the twitter handle of the Jharkhand Chief Minister.

Arjun Munda’s laconic tweet is likely to kick up a major political controversy on the state of affairs in Jamshedpur and Jharkhand.

Earlier in the day, the Union Minister Arjun Munda had also visited Ghaghidih Jail and met the jailed BJP leader Abhay Singh and VHP activists there. Later, he had termed their arrest as ‘politically motivated’ and had advised the district administration officers to act impartially and not to come under any political pressure.

The Union Minister has his residence in Ghorabandha, Telco area.

The Union Minister has expressed displeasure at the lack of proper protocol during his arrival, departure and stay in Jamshedpur.
