Khunti to Witness Major Infrastructure Development: Arjun Munda

Three New Road Projects Announced by Union Ministers Munda and Gadkari

In a significant development for the residents of Khunti, local MP and Union Minister Arjun Munda has announced three pivotal infrastructure projects to be inaugurated on March 10. The initiative, aimed at enhancing connectivity and fostering economic growth, will see Union Road, Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari laying the foundation stone online for these transformative projects.

KHUNTI – Union Minister Arjun Munda highlighted the strategic importance of the Khunti Karra Bedo Two Lane Road, enhancing links between Khunti, Ranchi, and Lohardaga districts.

The Ranchi Khunti Four Lane Bypass Road, starting from Tupudana to Kundibar Toli, promises to alleviate traffic woes and reduce accidents and travel time.

Set to improve accessibility to local tourist attractions and mining areas, these projects underscore a commitment to economic and social development.

Munda emphasized the future integration of the Khunti Karra Bedo Road into the Sambalpur Ranchi Expressway Economic Corridor, underlining the road’s significance.

The completion of these projects will not only fulfill a long-standing demand but also unlock vast opportunities for local communities,” Munda stated, reflecting on the potential impact.

Tourism in the area is expected to receive a boost, with new access roads to prominent sites and ensuing job creation.

The construction of the Ranchi Khunti Road (existing) and the Khunti bypass will meet the residents’ demand for better infrastructure, marking a milestone in Khunti’s development journey.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari’s involvement in the online foundation laying ceremony underscores the projects’ national significance, heralding a new era of connectivity for Khunti.

Enhancing Connectivity and Economic Growth

The projects are poised to revolutionize transport links in the region, making significant strides toward reducing travel time and improving safety.

Through these initiatives, we aim to bolster the economic landscape by enhancing connectivity to key mining and tourist areas,” said Arjun Munda, underscoring the broader implications.

Boosting Tourism and Employment

With direct access to major tourist attractions planned, the projects promise to catalyze tourism and employment in the region.

The new roads will pave the way for increased tourism and job opportunities, enriching the local economy,” Munda remarked, envisioning the future benefits.
