Guru Purnima Celebrated at Shri Sainath Devasthanam, Ghorabandha

Devotees gather for Guru Purnima festival at Shri Sainath Devasthanam, Ghorabandha, enjoying a day of rituals, worship, and celebrations.

Shri Sainath Devasthanam in Ghorabandha hosted a grand Guru Purnima festival on Sunday, 21st July, with various rituals and events throughout the day.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Guru Purnima festival was celebrated with great fervor at Shri Sainath Devasthanam in Ghorabandha on Sunday, 21st July.

Acharya Pandit Nanpand Lal Mishra and Pandit Sujit Kumar Pathak performed the worship rituals, with Yajaman Akash Ranjan present.

The festival included Baba’s worship, Aarti, Mahaprasad, Pali worship, Palki Shobha Yatra, and Sai Bhajan Sandhya, running from 5:30 am to 10:00 pm.

The day began with the Kakad Aarti at 5:30 am, followed by Shri Baba’s Mangal Snan with fruit juice at 7:00 am.

From 7:30 am to 12:00 noon, the Guru Purnima Puja and Havan were conducted.

After the midday Aarti at 12:00 noon, Prasad was distributed at 1:00 pm, with devotees from around the temple and different areas of the city participating.

Baba’s Palki Yatra started at 4:00 pm within the temple premises.

At 6:30 pm, the Dhoop Aarti was performed, followed by Sai Bhajan Sandhya at 7:00 pm.

City bhajan artists presented a series of captivating bhajans, which devotees enjoyed by singing and dancing.

The day concluded with the Sej Aarti, with many devotees participating.

Dignitaries from the city visited Baba during the festival. The temple was beautifully decorated with attractive lighting arrangements.

Chairman Rajiv Kumar, President Anup Ranjan, Trustee Nutan Kumari, Rashmi Naan, General Secretary C Uday Bhaskar, and all active members of the institute were present.
