Students to Benefit from Semester Exchange and Research Opportunities

In a groundbreaking move, NIT Jamshedpur has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IIT Gandhinagar, marking the beginning of an unprecedented academic collaboration that will allow students from NIT to study at the prestigious IIT campus for one semester.

JAMSHEDPUR – The historic agreement, recently signed by Prof. Gautam Sutradhar, Director of NIT Jamshedpur, opens doors for students and faculty to access a wider range of educational resources and opportunities at both institutions.

Under this pioneering initiative, research students pursuing Ph.D. programs at NIT will have the chance to conduct research at IIT Gandhinagar, benefiting from the expertise of research guides at both institutions. The collaboration also extends support to students participating in the summer research internship program.

The partnership has generated excitement among students and faculty at NIT Jamshedpur, as it promises to enrich their academic experience and broaden their horizons. Teachers from NIT will also have the opportunity to engage in research activities and academic pursuits at IIT Gandhinagar.
