Chhau Troupes Invite Chakradharpur MLA Sukhram Oraon to Join Celebrations

CHAKRADHARPUR – The traditional Chhau dance and fair, celebrated during the Masant festival in rural areas under the Chakradharpur assembly of West Singhbhum, is gearing up with full enthusiasm.
On Wednesday, the Chhau dance troupe team visited the residence of Chakradharpur MLA Sukhram Oraon to extend an invitation for the event.
The dance troupes, including Asantalia Chhau Dance Troupe, Banjikusum Chhau Dance Troupe, Padampur Chhau Dance Troupe, Kotuwan Chhau Dance Troupe, Hathiya Upar Tola Chhau Dance Troupe, Ghaghragat Chhau Dance Troupe, Kendo Devgaon Chhau Dance Troupe, and Hathiya Neeche Tola Chhau Dance Troupe, met with the MLA to discuss the event preparations.
MLA Sukhram Oraon engaged in a discussion with the Chhau dance team about the preparations and expressed his support for the event.
Dishom Guru Ashirwad Yojana President Sunny Oraon and MLA representative Piru Hembram were also present at the MLA’s residence during the meeting.
