High Court Tightens Grip in Bokaro Pushpa Case

DNA Samples Collected After Court Orders Swift Report Submission

Key Points:

  • High Court Orders DNA Report Within Two Weeks
  • Parents’ Samples Collected at Bokaro Hospital
  • Family Demands Narco Test of Main Accused

JAMSHEDPUR – Police intensified action in Bokaro after the High Court demanded swift progress in the Pushpa murder case.

Following court directions, police moved quickly to gather forensic evidence. Meanwhile, parents of the victim were taken for DNA testing.

The Bokaro police escorted the parents to a hospital. There, doctors collected their DNA samples under supervision.

However, this step came after strict remarks from the court. The hearing involved senior officials including the DGP and SIT members.

Meanwhile, the court instructed authorities to submit the DNA report soon. It gave a deadline of two weeks for completion.

Moreover, the court directed testing to be conducted in Kolkata. It also ordered postmortem examination of the recovered skeleton at RIMS.

On the other hand, the victim’s parents raised serious concerns. They said police only collected DNA samples without showing recovered items.

They claimed no identification process for clothes or belongings occurred. This raised questions about investigation transparency.

Meanwhile, the family demanded stronger action against the accused. They specifically called for a narco test of Dinesh Kumar Mahto.

Moreover, they believe such a test may reveal the truth. They said it could help uncover hidden details in the case.

In contrast, police have not publicly responded to this demand. However, the investigation is now under close judicial monitoring.

The case has drawn attention due to alleged delays earlier. Meanwhile, forensic confirmation remains crucial for establishing identity.

Authorities continue to follow court directives as scrutiny increases. The outcome of forensic tests will likely shape further action.
