JAMSHEDPUR – Extensive security and civic preparations are underway for the President’s proposed one-day visit to the city on February 26.

District and police authorities have intensified coordination efforts. Moreover, senior officials are reviewing arrangements daily.

Security measures are being strengthened across key locations. Meanwhile, traffic management plans are under preparation.

In Baridih, dozens of roadside temporary shops were removed. However, officials said alternative arrangements were suggested.

Authorities stated the action aimed to secure the convoy route. Moreover, the entire stretch is being cleaned and renovated.

Painting and beautification work is progressing rapidly. Meanwhile, surveillance systems are being checked along the route.

The President will attend two major events. First, a foundation ceremony is scheduled at Marine Drive.

The ceremony will take place at Jagannathpur Temple. Moreover, a development project within the temple complex will begin.

State ministers and local representatives are expected to attend. Meanwhile, administrative officers will remain present.

The second event will be held at Manipal College. In addition, the President may address students and faculty members.
