JAMSHEDPUR – Campaigning has intensified in Jugsalai as ward candidates step up outreach efforts ahead of the municipal election.

Election activities have gained momentum in Jugsalai as polling day approaches. Meanwhile, candidates have increased their public engagements across wards.

Ward number 12 candidate Suresh Sharma has launched his campaign with a development agenda. He is known locally as a social worker and serves as an office-bearer of the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce.

Moreover, Sharma has been visiting households to seek support. He has pledged to focus on civic infrastructure and public amenities.

On the other hand, Ward number 8 candidate Nitai Chandra Sasmal has intensified his outreach. He has begun door-to-door visits in his constituency.

As the election date draws closer, campaign activities are expanding rapidly. Meanwhile, supporters have started mobilising across several localities of Jamshedpur.

Earlier, ten candidates filed nominations for the Jugsalai chief post, according to the nomination update. Moreover, election symbols were allotted to municipal aspirants in East Singhbhum as reported in the symbol allocation report.

The Bharatiya Janata Party recently declared nominees for Mango and Jugsalai seats, as detailed in the BJP candidate announcement. In addition, a candidate withdrawal reshaped the contest, according to the withdrawal development.

Officials have urged peaceful campaigning across all wards. Meanwhile, administrative authorities are monitoring preparations to ensure smooth polling.
