BOKARO – Three members of a family were found dead in Sector-9A Street 5 under Harla police station area on Wednesday.

The bodies were discovered in an outhouse. Kundan Kumar Tiwari and his wife Rekha Kumari hung from nooses. Their two-year-old son Shreyansh Kumar lay dead inside.

The landlord informed authorities about the incident. Harla police reached the spot immediately. Moreover, officers began investigations into the deaths.

Kundan belonged to Banka district in Bihar. The family resided in the jhuggi area. However, financial troubles plagued their household.

Police suspect the child was killed first. The couple then committed suicide afterward. In addition, evidence collection is underway.

Jitni Devi made serious allegations against creditors. She is the deceased woman’s mother. Furthermore, she blamed debt pressure for the tragedy.

“Money demands and threats broke them down,” she stated. The landlord denied confinement allegations. On the other hand, he admitted lending money.
