Administration Begins Route Preparations from Akashvani Chowk to Campus

JAMSHEDPUR – Seraikela administration launched preparations for President Droupadi Murmu’s visit Wednesday. Officials began clearing illegal encroachments along designated route. The drive started early morning hours.

Deputy Commissioner directed operations at Adityapur Akashvani Chowk area. Teams moved toward NIT compound systematically. Most encroachers voluntarily removed their shops. However, authorities continued monitoring the stretches closely.

Municipal corporation deployed sanitation teams simultaneously. Workers cleaned roads and surrounding areas thoroughly. The civic body prioritized zones near campus. Road repair work will commence shortly afterward.

President Murmu will attend NIT Jamshedpur’s convocation. The 15th ceremony occurs December 29 as scheduled. She will participate as chief guest. Her stay extends approximately 45 minutes only.

District administration finalized the route chart already. Implementation phase has begun across locations. The first stage involves encroachment removal completely. Subsequent phases include beautification and infrastructure upgrades.

DC and SP coordinate with departments continuously. They issue necessary directives to concerned officials. Security arrangements remain top priority for visit. Traffic management plans are being finalized separately.

NIT Jamshedpur hosts the prestigious academic event. Graduates will receive degrees during ceremony. Faculty members are preparing campus infrastructure meticulously. The institution expects smooth convocation proceedings.

President Murmu has visited Jharkhand previously. She performed puja at Baidyanath temple earlier. Moreover, she inaugurated multiple development projects statewide. This marks her first Jamshedpur visit this year.
