JAMSHEDPUR – Mukesh Mittal secured re-election as president of East Singhbhum District Marwari Sammelan for the 2026-28 term following Sunday’s general election.

The polling concluded peacefully across the district. A total of 1148 votes were cast. Moreover, counting commenced immediately after voting ended.

Mittal received the highest tally with 413 votes. His nearest competitor Suresh Sharma garnered 367 votes. Meanwhile, third candidate Vivek Chaudhary secured 365 votes.

The results triggered celebrations among supporters. Mittal’s team organized enthusiastic welcome ceremonies. However, the atmosphere remained cordial throughout result announcements.
