JAMSHEDPUR – A grand Deepotsav celebration took place at the Ram Temple located within the Surya Mandir complex in Sidhgora, Jamshedpur, inspired by the festivities of Ayodhya.
The temple premises glowed with the light of 11,000 earthen lamps as devotees celebrated the return of Lord Ram. The atmosphere was filled with devotion, chants, and joy as people participated in lighting diyas and offering prayers.
Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das attended the ceremony and joined devotees in the celebrations. Addressing the gathering, he said, “When Lord Ram returned to Ayodhya after 14 years of exile, the entire nation celebrated by lighting lamps. Since then, this tradition continues as an expression of devotion and happiness. Today’s Deepotsav at the Sidhgora Ram Temple reflects that same spirit.”
The entire temple complex was decorated beautifully, with floral arrangements and traditional lamps illuminating the sanctum. Devotees from across the city gathered in large numbers, making the evening a vibrant blend of faith, unity, and festivity.
