Four Arrested for Sexual Assault on Two Minor Girls in Sakchi

Police Nab All Accused After Raid at Kailash Hotel in Sana Complex

JAMSHEDPUR – Sakchi police arrested four men following the sexual assault on two 12-year-old girls at Kailash Hotel in Sana Complex on October 16 evening.

The incident occurred around 5:30 pm. Both victims are neighbors. They reached the hotel after being lured by an acquaintance.

The four accused then committed the heinous crime. Police received information about the assault. Sakchi police station officers conducted an immediate raid.

However, all four accused were apprehended swiftly. The arrested men have been identified as follows:

• Kailash Mishra from Bihar Green, Sonari area
• Karan Kumar Rana from Itkhori, Chatra
• Rounak Kumar Das alias Shreyash from Block 4, Shastri Nagar, Kadma
• Tarun Sharma alias Golu from near CP Club, Sonari

Medical examination of both minor victims was conducted. Meanwhile, the process for recording statements in court has begun. Moreover, authorities confirmed that charges under POCSO Act were filed.

Police registered cases under multiple sections against the accused. Investigation is being conducted with utmost seriousness. On the other hand, police are probing involvement of other possible accomplices.

Local residents expressed outrage over the incident. They demanded stringent legal punishment for all accused. Besides, police assured complete transparency in the investigation.

“We are handling this case with sensitivity,” said a police source. “Strict legal action will be ensured against the guilty.”
